Production and supply

The logistics department receives requests from the production department to supply materials and tools via the MyPlantFloor system. These requests ensure that the right items are on the production line on time. The system uses LIFO or FIFO principles to determine which warehouse location is used. Materials with an expired best-before date are automatically blocked. Labeling and scanning provide a real-time stock status, shortening the lead time and thus improving OEE.

Quality assurance and traceability

In quality management, the operator uses barcode scanning to check all materials and/or semifinished products before production starts. Only after all materials have been checked and are present is the production line released. If traceability is enabled, operators must scan the container ID labels of materials with the mobile app. This method ensures correct material processing and full traceability of critical raw materials.
