Operators can periodically enter all data that could influence the quality of the product via the online quality system on the operator screen. Examples include: weight checks, checking tightening torques of caps, checking for metal detection, checking temperature, etc. The intervals for checks can be set for each product/machine combination based on time, pieces or other triggers such as the start of a run, end of a run, change of raw materials, etc. All data is stored per production order and is easy to view.
When this module is enabled in the quality management system, the operator checks all materials and semi-finished products for accuracy before the production line is released. The software displays a bill of materials (BOM) overview, showing the location and status of each item. Production can only start once all materials are present correctly and in full.
